ANS: The minimum requirements for interfacing a single register are: 1- CatchUm video surveillance software installed in a windows based computer. 2- The video cable from surveillance camera located above register is connected to the CatchUm (TVS) text inserter box. 3- A special made cable connects the registers printer port to Catchum Video Text inserter. 4- A single coax cable connects text inserter box to computers USB input. 5- Source of video input must be from the output of a single 2:1 interlace (not random interlace) camera. The signal available at the inserter box output port contains both the video signal and text from the register.
