What are the causes of Foot Tendonitis?
Foot Tendonitis (Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction), which causes pain in the tendons on the foot. Tendons connect the muscles in your leg to the bones in the foot. The common cause of Foot Tendonitis is when the tendons become tired and inflamed, and this can lead to pain in the foot. The inflamed tendons that cause Foot Tendonitis can be caused by excessive use of the tendon, usually by walking uphill. Foot Tendonitis is usually made worse with increasing use. Another cause of Foot Tendonitis can be biomechanical, such as a high or low arch, which makes the tendons work harder to control foot and place increased stess on the foot.
