What are the causes of conflict in a multi-ethnic society?
In any society that is comprised of different ethnic groups, the various cultures and customs will conflict with each other. Difference in opinion on what is acceptable often leads to conflict, even war when cultures disagree. One of the best examples in the U.S. was during World War 2, when Japanese Americans were placed in internment camps out of fear of their ethnic background and heritage. We see the same thing now, as muslim culture comes into conflict with other cultures, especially since their views are some times seen aligned with terrorism, which is untrue of most Muslim followers.
