What are the cases I need to submit to become Board Diplomate and Credentialed in Psychiatry?
The cases submitted are used to evaluate your psychiatric clinical skills in lieu of a written or oral examination. They should include relevant patient information (no name, medical records or other personal data), complete history, physical exam if applicable, diagnosis or differential diagnosis and treatment plan. You may elect to send a hospital admission/discharge summary if it contains all the necessary data. Two members of The Board of Directors of AAPM will review each case and both need to agree that it meets standards of care.
