A. AutoMate can control almost any camera that has an electronic shutter release. This includes all Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Minolta, Samsung, Contax, Sigma, Hasselblad, Olympus, and Sony DSLR and SLR cameras that have electronic shutter releases. For the odd camera with an electronic remote shutter release for which we do not have a manufactured cable, we can usually custom build one, providing we can obtain a remote shutter release that we can cannibalize. Thanks to eBay, this is usually possible. There is an extra fee for making custom cables. It is also possible to build custom cables for virtually any camera that has an infrared remote control.
