What are the business processes?
During the future+focus workshops that were held from the 5th to 7th of May, the Business Change and Innovation Team spent time looking at ten key processes that happen across the University. These were: • Student Advice • Validation / quality monitoring and evaluation (QME) • Recruitment and Registration • Student Records and Administration • Placements • Assessment • Marketing and Graduation • Research Administration • Finance These processes were chosen as they have a significant impact on student experience and use up a large slice of our time and resources. After consulting with 120 members of staff about the services they provide, the Business Change and Innovation team identified six processes where the biggest improvements can be made. These processes are identified below.
