What are the business hours in Egypt?
It varies. In Egypt, lunch is the main meal of the day; it is a little later than it is in the U.S. (anywhere between 1 and 3 p.m.). It is therefore customary to break at lunch and for people to go home for that meal. Government offices are usually open 8 a.m. to 2p.m six days a week. Private businesses usually have morning and afternoon hours that vary greatly.
