• A • Burning is permitted for the disposal of leaves, tree, yard, and garden trimmings. The burn site must be 300 feet from any occupied building (other than your own) and be attended at all times. The state burn law says you must burn after 4 p.m. from February 15th thru April 30th. To report illegal burning, call (540) 582-7100.
