What are the branches of social science?

0

As people have said Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Law. But dont forget the other Social Sciences – Politics, Economics, Business Studies, Management Science. And the subsections of each of them – ie Politics – Social Policy, Policy Studies etc, Sociology – Development Studies, Gender Studies, Media Studies etc etc. Then there are the cross overs with other subjects such as Economic and Social History, Human Geography – any subject can be approached from a social scientific angle. You could say that Natural Sciences such as Chemistry, Physics etc and Computing also have elements of Social Science if you consider why certain subjects are studied but not others and the communication of science – they all happen within a societal context although I guess you would probably describe that as the Sociology of Natural Science.
