What are the bodies of water on Ireland?
Ireland has many waterways. The largest lake is Lough Neagh. Other large lakes include Lough Derg, Lough Corrib, Lough Ree, Lough Erne and Lough Swilly. Ireland’s longest river is the Shannon. Other important rivers include the Blackwater, the Lee, the Boyne, the Liffey, the Lagan, the Nore, the Suir amongst others. As Ireland is an island it also has many bays and inlets, especiallly on the west coast.
