What are the bile ducts?

0

The bile ducts are small tubes which drain bile from the liver and the gall bladder into the small intestine. The bile is drained from the right and left side of the liver by the right and left hepatic ducts. The hepatic ducts join together to form the common hepatic duct. This joins the duct from the gallbladder to form the common bile duct. The common bile duct drains the bile into the small intestine. Digestive juices from the pancreas also flow into the common bile duct.
