What are the biggest health care problems facing the U.S. today?
Some of the biggest health care problems facing people living in the U.S. today are diseases associated with diet. These include, but are not limited to: Obesity, heart disease, stroke, osteoporosis, diabetes, and cancers of the breast, prostate, and colon. The incidence of these diseases and their related health care costs could be drastically reduced, if people started choosing the kinds of foods they fuel their bodies with more wisely. Having said that, the U.S. health care system is also in immediate need of an overhaul. Real health care reform involves making sure that every American has access to affordable, quality, health care, and providing education and services to people so that they don’t become seriously ill from diseases that are entirely preventable.
