What are the biggest changes between God of War and its sequel?
Cory Barlog: There are a lot of additions to God of War II but I wouldn’t qualify too much of the game as a big change. There are some who expect every game to make a dramatic change the way that Resident Evil 4 did over its predecessors. And for that series I think the change was fantastic and completely necessary. I honestly think it should have happened much sooner than it did. But that kind of change is not necessary for every game. IGN: One of the hallmarks of the original game was the incredible set-piece battles with enormous enemies. What can we expect this time around? Cory Barlog: I think we have pushed those set-piece battles and large scale epic moments even further with God of War II. We have a larger selection of bosses in the game, and we have really tried to blur the line between what is and what is not a boss, so that each battle you have really feels epic and unique.
