What are the bidding thresholds and requirements?
• $10,000 or less: Competitive bids are not required • $10,000 – $20,000: The Office for Supply Management Services (SMS) will solicit formal quotations from a minimum of three responsible suppliers • $20,000 or more: SMS will solicit formal quotations from a minimum of five responsible suppliers For more information, please see University Policy 3.25, Procurement of Goods and Services or the Purchase Order Process section of the Buying Manual.
