What are the best websites for finding cheap cruises?
There is a problem with going to the on-line sites that advertise the cheap, lowest prices. The cruise lines have a few rooms that are hard to even find on their floor plan, and they will assign them to the different tour packagers. They are like the one car on a car lot that is advertised, but you never can find that particular car. One time I kept at it until I found the rooms they were talking about… and they were only four rooms around a corner and where the entrance to the crew quarters were. Now… I don’t really have a problem with that, and have considered certain circumstances where I actually might prefer those rooms… but even if you do, they may be reserved for one of the visiting entertainers or art auction types, etc. So once you get past the advertised specials, you are back in the same mix with the cruise line’s advertised rates. On the other hand, I don’t think there is anything wrong with using an on-line travel packager, but it won’t mean you always get the lowest
