What are the best ways to travel to the start and finish?
The nearest stations to the start are South Kensington tube or Victoria mainline station. There is no parking available at Chelsea. The nearest stations to the finish are Belmont and Sutton mainline stations. The nearest station to King George’s Playing Field (the 5 mile start) is Raynes Park mainline station. We have coaches on the morning of The Marsden March taking walkers from Sutton to Chelsea, and from Sutton to the 5-mile start in King George’s playing fields. These coaches are only for walkers who have pre-booked seats on them. If you do not have a reserved space on one of these coaches you will need to make your own way to your starting point.
