What are the best ways for actors to establish relationships with up and coming directors in independent film?
JOSH: We’ve produced commercials and things, and we’ve made these movies. But for us, this is about the love of making movies. For us, we love actors who love making movies as well. And as soon as somebody starts getting too into what this means for their career, and money, and all these other things– it’s kind of, you know, whatever. We’ll kill ourselves to make a movie. And we love that same camaraderie. When you have that kind of mutual respect among– not just the actors, but the cinematographer. And you’re all in this thing together. Like the old Ingmar Bergman kind of crew. I think it’s really rewarding. That’s us personally. I think for everybody it’s different. Everybody has their own culture, within how they make a movie.
