I applied to universities all in the top ten in the country, to study mathematics; I accepted two, failed to get my first choice, but did get my second. In the end, I asked to be released from it in order to study optometry at Anglia Ruskin (financial and personal happiness reasons), and I fully believe that to be the best decision I made regarding university. I recommend you really consider what you want from university, and visit the ones you’re interested in.
