What are the best types of shoes to wear on FieldTurf?
The best types of shoes are molded cleats or screw-ins (maximum recommended is ½”). The footwear designated for natural grass is easily transferable to use on FieldTurf synthetic turf systems. While use of long steel jagged cleats on FieldTurf will not void the warranty, they are not recommended. Limited use is allowable. Metal and aluminum rounded molded cleats are acceptable. It is important to note that flat-soled shoes do not result in ultimate athlete performance.
