MOAB Best dates are March and November because, while these months are outside of traditional peak season, weather is statistically mild and low tourist visitation makes the best areas private playgrounds. April, May, September, October are peak season for mountain biking in Moab and the town can get crowded on weekends. During peak season rides are timed for minimum contact with humans outside the group. Accommodations get a bit tricky to book during peak season, so try to book your package at least two to three months in advance.
