Give the battery an overnight charge – if your car still has problems starting, then I’d say, yes, your battery needs replacing. If the battery is new, however, there may be an underlying fault for poor starting – usually damp getting into the electrical system (older cars are more prone to this). The alternator may also be at fault and not charging the battery correctly. (worn/sticking brushes) Covering your windscreen with cardboard (not newspaper – this will stick to the screen and be a bugger to remove) will stop the windscreen frosting over.
