It’s matter of personal preference, of course, but generally speaking business fliers tend to choose aisle seats, far forward in the cabin, for ease of exit. Some airlines even set these seats aside for late-booking business travelers, and only release them at the gate just prior to departure. Familieswith small children are often placed at the rear of the plane, but those back rows aren’t necessarily a bad choice since there tend to be more empty seats in that section and on long-haul flights you’ll have more room to stretch out. Beware the very last row, however, since the bulkhead behind you prevents the seats from reclining fully. If you find yourself in a row of three seats on a half-full flight, choose the middle one until after take-off; other travelers will be less likely to sit beside you.
