What are the best restaurants in NYC that r moderat. priced (> $15 entree), family friendly, and great food?
There are plenty of restaurants in the Times Square area where you can go and dine and not pay an arm and a leg. * Carmine’s – family-style dining. So, the portions are big because they’re meant for sharing and you can easily walk away with spending about $20 per person and be stuffed. * Tony DiNapli’s – same idea as Carmine’s. * John’s Pizzeria – it’s more than just pizza. An Italian restaurant with great ambiance right down the street from Carmine’s. * Simply Pasta is excellent too. It’s on 41st, right across from Bryant Park. It’s a lovely place with an affordable menu. * St. Andew’s – A Scottish place that serves big portions and is a nice place to go with family. There are actually tons of places in the area you can go and dine that is affordable and NOT a chain restaurant. It’s really a matter or picking the kind of food you want.
