BOARD GAMES!!!! A couple of years ago, we were looking for activities to do during free time at our church’s bible camp. These kids are ALL techies – ALL have gameboys, advanced, sp, PSOne PS2 Xbox, Nintendo Gamecube, DS, DSMini – you name it, they’ve got it!!! Well, being the gameophile I am, I sugessted board games. In particular, LIFE and Scattergories. Well, they LOVED them!! So much so, that we HAD to go buy one to keep at church to be used with the set I had so more than just 6 people could play!! These kids ranged i age from 6 yrs to 15 or so. Also, check in your area for specials on bowling. In my area, the kids receive a free-game-a-day-for-the-summer bowling pass from an area bowling alley. It takes about an hour to bowl a game, and with commuting time, that’s 2 good hours shaved off your Mom-we-don’t-have-anything-to-do list! We took the kids from Bible Camp this year, and NOW they CAN’T get enough!!!!! Finally, try an indoor treasure hunt – kids LOVE that!! You can make it

It was cool! XD Cardboard boxes, card, sellotape and scissors are the best – you can make anything out of them, cars, houses, boats, shops, aeroplanes, make puppets out of old socks and make a cardboard theatre….we did! And even better, most boxes you can pick up from the supermarket for free. (But empty TV or computer boxes are the best, of course) Another thing I used to do is Mum used to let me pai
