What are the best private schools for 12+ in Dublin?
Yeah Blackrock College would be the best and there is a lot of history in that place, 150 years old this year. Belvedere College would be the other quality school in Dublin, a lot of history there too. Blackrock has better grounds though. Also private schools in Ireland are clearly academically superior to non fee paying, schools in Ireland are usually ranked by the number of pupils who go on the third level education, of the top ten eight are fee paying schools. Both Blackrock and Belvedere are in the top ten; http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/fron… I don’t know how flying mop dog could possibly say that there is more bullying in private schools, there is zero evidence of that. I went to a private school I rarely saw any bullying, the academic standard was excellent and the facilities were outstanding.
