What are the best places in Canada to live or visit?
Canada has consistently been rated a great place to live because of the high standard of living, low crime rates and universal health care (not that the system is perfect) It also offers a variety of delights. Toronto is a huge metropolis, Quebec City has European flair, Montreal is a party city, Vancouver is very liberal, Calgary very conservative, the capital Ottawa is well taken care of and the North is just pretty. Canada has lots to offer. It’s not just freezing cold – summer in my home city averages 30 degrees (Celsius). It has natural beauty for the outdoorsy type but it also has enough amenities that city types are also satisfied. Of course, what helps make a place good to live or visit is subjective. The people you are with contribute a lot to a good visit and good home.
