soups, stews and casseroles are the best and easiest to cook in large batches and freeze. And they always taste better next day or after they’ve been re-heated! I’ve also frozen pasta bakes, lasagne, spaghetti bolognese or spaghetti and meatballs. If you have a slow cooker make use of it and do some casseroles in there and just freeze the leftovers after dinner that night. Its always great for when you have a newborn in the house. I couldn’t have lived without my slow cooker in the first months after having a baby and now that my third is a fully fledged toddler and all i do is chase him all day, it is my saviour!!
