What are the best exercises to tone up?
Firstly, cut out all chocolate, sweets, cakes etc Eat lots of fresh fruit and veg, lean meats & fish, drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol 3 x 40 minutes of moderate intensity cardiovascular exercise a week (jogging, rowing, swimming, cycling) 3 x 30 minutes of resistance training (weights) a week – squats, deadlifts, lunges, hanging leg raises 3 x 30 minutes of situps, supermen, balance ball work, wobble board exercises a week give it 6-8 weeks and you should notice a good improvement. If you don’t know what any of the exercises are, google them, there are loads of websites out there which will show you how to do them. PS i’m guessing you are female, but don’t think that you should be shy of weight training. Too many girls make the mistake in thinking that if they do weights, they get big muscles. This is rubbish, you don’t have the right kind of hormones to get really muscly. You do need to lift heavy weights to tone up, the tiny ones don’t do anything!
