What are the best countries to hunt in?
Africa is large, and the quality/quantity of game varies by area. Certain countries have excellent hunting but tend to be very expensive – Tanzania and Botswanna. Others have certain species that can only be hunted there: South Africa – nyala, white rhino, black wildebeest; Namibia – Hartmann’s zebra; Tanzania – east African antelope species, etc. In general, Zimbabwe offers the best value for dangerous game while Namibia offers the least expensive daily rate plains game hunts. South Africa has a tremendous diversity of game and terrain. As you can see, there is no “best” country – it depends.
