What are the “best” C-MAP chart settings?
On the F3 toolbar: • Chart Lock: really the only one that requires experimenting. Usually OFF is best but for some areas ON improves the zooming reliability. • OverZoom – Always ON • SkipEmptyLevels – Always ON • Virtual – Always OFF, unless you want to zoom down to extreme scales • MixCharts – Mostly ON, unless you’re finding alignment problems with overlapped charts of differing scales.
