What are the best books to read in the contemporary fantasy/ paranormal romance genre?
This series is perhaps one of the greatest I have ever read. I don’t want to say it is contemporary completely, but the time in which the stories take place is a bit ambiguous. If you wanted to imagine it taking place 10 years ago, or 100 years ago, the story would fit. The setting and characters of the story are a universe unto themselves. I don’t want to give too much away, because the stories are like unwrapping a surprise present! Now, here’s the thing. It is called the Trilogy, but recently 2 more additions came out (one merely a collection of stories relative to the characters and settings of the Trilogy) recently, that are also wonderful. Still, start with the beginning of the Trilogy (it will be labeled as such; I forget the name). I promise you won’t be disappointed! Oh, and there is a paperback omnibus, too, with the entire Trilogy. It is big, but it is well worth it! I really hope you read and enjoy these novels.
