If you want to become a better conversationalist, let the other person do most of the talking. IT WORKS! Ask leading, yet not too personal questions. Why does this work? Because people are far more interested in what they have to say and much less interested in what you have to say. This is human nature 101. And believe me, subconsciously, they will like you for it. After a while and you get to know the person better, a balance in conversation will develop.
