What are the best adult group games?
Hi! I am in charge of getting games together for a group of adults to play at our church retreats. Last year, we played a game called “The Machine” and everyone loved it. Everyone gets in a circle and one by one players will walk to the middle of the circle and make a coordinating sound and motion (for example, the first player can get on all fours and bob his head or move an arm up and down while making a beeping noise) After that player has established his move and sound another player will join him in the middle of the circle to add to the machine by making another sound and motion. It works well for players to understand that they are “building” and machine and should try to coordinate with one another. One by one all players join the group forming a machine. Once all players are included the first player will begin to pick up the pace and the machine will work faster and faster then slowly come to a halt. It is a hilarious game to see what all sounds people will come up with. We h
