What are the best activities to do at Ayers Rock?
There is no need to climb it since not climbing it shows respect to the traditional owners. There is a walk that you can do around Uluru which is quiet nice and there are also a lot of other activities that you can do with Aboriginal guides such as traditional dancing etc. These are expensive and mainly aimed at non Australian tourist.I do recommend the walk with the guide since they explain the history of the rock and introduce you to some traditional dream time stories. If you have a car I can also recommend a drive down to Kata Tjuta. You can also wait around and do a sunrise and sunset tour of the rock since it is different during these times.I think there are also options to see the rock from a helicopter tour but once again this is expensive. There are also camel tours.
