What are the benefits to Providers of the settlement?
• Providers who participate in the settlement and file adjusted reimbursement claims pursuant to the terms of the Protocol will share in additional MA reimbursement payments of up to $16,000,000 over the next 2 years to pay for uncompensated care. What do I need to do? • You need to submit two documents to the Department: (1) a Provider PEME Claim form, and (2) a Provider Declaration. The Provider PEME Claim form must be submitted to the Department no later than Friday, June 25, 2010. In the very near future, Class counsel will be sending you a copy of this form already filled out for your facility for your review and submission. A copy of the Provider PEME Claim will also be available soon from the “Notices and Documents” section of this Web site, under “Documents.” Your Provider PEME Claim must be based on data previously submitted by you to Class counsel in response to a subpoena issued in July 2008.
