What are the benefits to me as an Eastside Disposal customer?
A. At the end of the 9-month trial pilot, a study will be conducted to analyze the effectiveness of the program. If it is deemed to be successful, there may be a potential to lower the cost of garbage collection, (or reduce future increases in rates) (or at worst, keep increases lower than they would be if we continue as we are now). As mentioned above, reduced truck traffic and better environmental quality are also goals of this program.
