Having this information gives some gamers a sense of power in knowing something that the other guy doesnt. A final benefit, and debatably the most important, is the compensation. According to Wikipedia, most Video Game Testers start out earning about $25,000 a year on average. Those with more experience, however, are making over $70,000 a year on average.
