What are the benefits of writing a Will?
By writing a Will you are able to decide who shall inherit your assets and the proportion that each of your beneficiary(ies) is to receive. This would mean that you do not burden your dependents with issues such as family disputes, unnecessary complex legal issues and administrative cost. If you do not have a valid Will, the law shall distribute your assets in a manner that may be contrary to your wishes. Other than identifying beneficiary(ies), you are able to appoint your own personal representatives and to personally decide who would be looking after your dependents when you are no longer around.
