What are the benefits of using NST solar lights vs. conventional grid powered lights?
NST solar lights require nothing but the solar panel(s), power system, and pole. A grid light can require the added cost of engineering studies for digging trenches, the cost of trenching, cost of buried cable, cost of conduit, cost of a transformer to step down grid line voltages, digging up sidewalks, roads, and replacing them when finished. There is also the added cost of grid power to operate the lights year after year forever.
