What are the benefits of upgrading my XL-DC with the XLi?
The XLi has the industry’s first standard network port for remote control and monitoring with multi-layer password protection, SNMP, Telnet, FTP and DHCP. The automatic options recognition software enables for “plug and play” which has the advantage of field upgradeability. And with flash memory, the XLi software can be upgraded remotely using FTP and the network port. XLi has a brilliant multi-line vacuum fluorescent display. It has the capability of displaying different status of the system, or the Time of Year (TOY) as DDD: HH:MM:SS in big bold and bright digits. And without the GPS receiver, the XLi system operates as a Time Code Unit (TCU) for all the Time Codes supported, please consult datasheet for the latest Time Codes.
