The investment of government and private sector partners in TradeFIT will increase the capability of CPIT to increase the number of qualified trades’ graduates, including in trades currently in high demand but in which numbers have been low over the past decade, and through offering eight new trades’ training programmes. Skill levels will be raised amongst CPIT and other trade graduates utilising TradeFIT, and the involvement of industry ensures training will be relevant to industry needs.
