What are the benefits of the High School Dual Enrollment Program?
• Provides an excellent bridge for graduating seniors as they prepare to leave high school and enter college • Offers personalized instruction with traditional UL Lafayette courses, faculty and students • Provides an opportunity for high school seniors to earn college credit before graduating from high school • Automatically generates an application for admission to UL Lafayette for the Fall 2012 semester.* *Students will not need to re-apply for the Fall 2012 semester; however, an automatic application does not guarantee admission to UL Lafayette. Who qualifies? Students enrolling in the High School Dual Enrollment Program must meet admissions requirements as follows: • Completion of the Louisiana Board of Regents’ Core 4 curriculum (upon graduation) • AND Mathematics ACT score of at least 19 and an English ACT score of at least 18 and a composite ACT score of at least 21 • AND High School GPA of 2.75 or higher using an unweighted 4.0 scale.
