What are the benefits of Shoebox Photo Scanning?
Shoebox Scanning relies upon powerful software and automated performance, for scanning efficiency and image adjustments. If your prints are in reasonable shape and you’re keeping an eye on cost, you’ll be delighted with the quality/value combination of this service. For the technically minded, Shoebox Scans are first digitized as TIFFs and if necessary, colour-corrected with a custom Photoshop action. From here, they are turned into Jpegs with the least amount of compression possible. Unlike other low cost scanning services, my Shoebox Service offers you a choice of TIFF and/or Jpeg output. Please keep in mind, that to offer you quality scans at my lowest prices, the full breadth of processing options such as B&W toning, individual dust and scratch removal, digital restoration, individual sharpening or thumbnail service, are not fully supported.
