What are the benefits of SchoolNet Global to literacy and language learning?
Many teachers have linked this project with language work. Teachers found that pupils were stimulated by the project, and that writing outcomes were of real value. Some teachers felt that literacy, reading, planning and comparing details in emails were all valuable outcomes from involvement with the project. Part of this was felt to be concerned with making the purpose and audience of the writing ‘real’, and that it was showing them how to use technology to its best effect. In some cases it was felt that one of the benefits was that everyone was able to produce something, even the less able pupils.
