What are the benefits of powder free?
Powdered gloves are more likely to cause an allergic reaction to latex proteins because the powder holds the proteins on the surface of the gloves. Powder free gloves have gone through an additional process which washes the gloves to reduce the latex proteins and improves donnability without powder. This additional process adds to the cost of the gloves but provides better protection for workers. Also powder free reduces the likelihood of contamination during the surface preparation process as there are no loose particles that might escape from the glove.
