What are the benefits of participating in the FNFP?
The FNFP has encouraged and enabled First Nations communities to create new partnerships with provincial governments, local industries, environmental organizations and others to develop joint ventures, carry out relevant studies, develop and implement forest management plans. As well, participation in the Program has increased capacity within First Nations by enabling community members to develop skills, learn leading-edge technologies, and obtain valuable relevant forestry training.
