What are the benefits of participating in the coop program?
Coop students have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in the work place and apply the skills they have been learning in school. They have the opportunity to network and learn from IT professionals and understand first hand what is expected in the workplace. This gives them an advantage upon graduation as coop students are hired more quickly and often get offers from their coop employers. In addition, the money they earn helps to fund their education.
