By using meditation you allow the heart rate and the breathing to slow down and the blood pressure to get back to normal, you sweat less and your mind ages at a slower rate. All of which are very much needed to help you live a longer, happier, and healthier life. When you are doing meditation you sit in a relaxed position. You want it to be in a room or special place where you will not be disturbed. You want to take 5-20 minutes and focus on clearing your mind, you can focus on a sound or on you breathing or just nothing at all. Many people make meditation a spiritual exercise, but it does not have to be so.
