What are the Benefits of IFMP for the Centers and Enterprises?
IFMP is designed to support NASA as one Agency with a common mission as well as the Centers and Enterprises responsible for different aspects of the NASA mission. IFMP provides significant new reporting tools for Centers and Enterprises. The Business Warehouse provides managers “real-time” data warehouse and reporting tools that give Center and Enterprise managers and staff new visibility into day-to-day operations. Business Warehouse enables Centers to develop specific reports that support their unique requirements. When IFMP’s Budget Formulation Module comes on line, NASA will be able to extend Core Financial capabilities for full cost and lead Center management to include the planning cycle. The Budget Formulation Module will allow the alignment of budget plans with strategic plans, and provide managers with the ability to manage performance commitments more effectively.
