What are the benefits of hosting a Fulbright FLTA?
Fulbright FLTAs receive significant financial support from ECA. Hosting a Fulbright FLTA is an excellent and economical way to strengthen and expand your language department’s offerings. FLTAs receive a monthly stipend sufficient to cover their living expenses at their host institution. In addition, they receive roundtrip transportation to their program site and health insurance coverage. Fulbright FLTAs are invited to participate in special workshops and Fulbright enrichment seminars throughout the academic year. FLTAs can be assigned diverse duties at their host institutions and are not limited to working exclusively in a formal classroom setting. Each institution is free to tailor the program to meet their unique needs.
